Named after the carob seed, which was originally used to weigh diamonds, the carat is a standard unit of measurement by which the weight and size of a diamond are determined. One carat is the equivalent of 0.2 grams, and Anjali Bhimrajka selects the carat of a diamond based on the setting and design of her jewellery.
